Multiple Personalities Disorder
I read the Multiple Personalities Disorder article. In this article I learned that Multiple Personalities Disorder is a form of severe dissociation, a mental process, that produces a lack of connections in a person's thoughts, memories, feelings, actions, or sense of identity. Multiple Personalities Disorder is difficult to diagnose. Some of its symptoms are: depression, mood swings, suicidal tendencies, sleep disorders, alcohol and drug abuse, compulsions and rituals, psychotic-like symptoms, and eating disorders. The central point of this article is to give you information on Multiple Personalities Disorder also known as Dissociative Identity Disorder and to tell you who gets it and how it can be treated. When I began to read this article my reaction to it was, I didn't actually know that there was a disorder like this. And then i began to think that maybe some of the people i know might have this disorder.

I have met many looney people throughout my life that I was convinced might have multiple personality disorder. Does that make you have more or less sympathy for them? Do you think they should be granted more leneincy in a court of law?
